With about 500 Black organizations based out of Fort Wayne, the directory, produced as both a print publication and a digital resource, will feature art by Fort Wayne-native Michael Johnson, owner of ConceptSeven Art Lounge.

“When you support a Black-owned business, you help the business survive and the community thrives. The FWBCC makes finding these businesses easier than ever through a directory.”

John Dortch, FWBCC CEO

The FWBCC is also producing a survey to assess areas of collaboration between the project participants to draw a picture of how well Black Fort Wayne works together.

The second directory is expected to be completed by September 1, 2020.
